Du’a/Supplication for Wednesday:
“Oh Allah, my God and that of Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), and God of Jibreel (Gabriel), Mika’il (Michael), and Israfeel (Israpheel), I beseech You to acept my du’a as I am distressed, to guard me in my faith as I am hemmed in by trying circumstances, to extend Your mercy to me as I am delinquint, and to ward away poverty form me as I am destitute.” (Anas Ibn Malik. ‘Amal al-Yawm wal-Laylah (Ibn as-Sunni) #138)
Commentary:
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “If after every salat/prayer a believer extends his hands and says this du’a, it will be a right on Allah that He not turn him back empty-handed.”
